Fawn-colored Sila Shepherd puppy
Olio is a Sila Shepherd puppy born on 26 June 2026 to Gricia and Cesare. His name recalls, with a pinch of irony, the gastronomic theme of the litter, inaugurated by mother Gricia.
Like all puppies from our kennel, he was born in a completely natural way, outdoors and in the open countryside, inside the den dug by his mother. An environment that reflects the history and rusticity of the Sila Shepherd, a breed selected over the centuries to live in close contact with livestock and face the most demanding conditions without difficulty.
Its fawn coat, perfectly permitted by the breed standard, represents one of the traditional colors of the Sila Shepherd. From the first days of life Olio stood out for his important structure, resulting in him being one of the largest and most robust puppies of the litter.
Alongside his physical prowess, a curious aspect of his character also emerges: at least from what can be observed at this age, Olio is definitely the more "chatty" of the brothers. He loves to make himself heard, often communicates with small vocalizations and demonstrates a liveliness that makes him immediately recognizable within the litter.
Olio will be entrusted to his new family when he is three months old, after having completed weaning and the entire vaccination protocol required for his age. In fact, we believe that spending the first months together with its mother and siblings is essential to promote correct physical, behavioral and relational development, allowing the puppy to face the transition to the new home with greater balance.

Assessments
From a morphological standpoint, it's still too early to make definitive assessments, as is the case with any puppy just a few weeks old. However, expectations are very positive thanks to the quality of the parents, Gricia and Cesare, both excellent representatives of the Sila Shepherd, selected for their hardiness, balanced temperament, and strong aptitude for guarding.
